Àutobiographie
Après avoir terminé ses études, elle se rend dans la capitale, Sofia. Au hasard d’une petite annonce, elle se présente à un casting organisé par un nouveau restaurant libanais qui recrute des danseuses, dans le but de produire des spectacles orientaux avec orchestre live et chanteurs. Sélectionnée parmi une dizaine de candidates, elle voit alors s’ouvrir les portes de ce monde magique des milles et une nuits dont elle a tant rêvé enfant. Après trois années d’expérience comme autodidacte, se présente à elle l’opportunité de voyager et dès 1994 elle se produira au Liban, en Turquie puis en Macédonie... Jusqu’à son arrivée en Suisse en 1997 elle est engagée à Genève dans un restaurant arabe où elle rencontre son mari.Elle décide alors de renoncer à sa carrière de danseuse pour se consacrer à sa famille. Mais en 2007, alors qu’elle se rend à un spectacle de danse orientale la flamme se ravive. Sa passion, qui ne l’a jamais quittée, l’anime à nouveau. Sa détermination la pousse à participer à différents festivals de danse orientale dans toute l’Europe (Italie, Allemagne, Hollande, France, Suisse etc…). Elle décide donc de se remettre à niveau en prenant des cours avec les plus grands professeurs, de renommée mondiale comme Amir Talheb, Raqia Hassan, Dina de Cairo, Mo Gedawi, Aziza - USA, Jilina – USA, Natalie – USA, Randa Kamel, Aziza – Torino, Lulu Sabongi – Brésil, Aïda Nour,Tito Seif,Diana Tarkhan, Lubna Emam, Surayia, Khaled Seif-des cours intensive a Zürich, Mohamed Shahin,Mercedes Nieto,Fahtiem-USA,Astrid Farah-USA,Dubai Nour, Wael Mansour, Nabila Sabha – Berlin, Momo Kadus Nieto ,Orit Matsfir,Munique Neit,Alexei Riabochapka,Maoydi etc… Ce qui lui permet aujoud’hui de produire des spectacles rafinés et de bonne qualité . A partir du mois de juillet 2012 elle suivra une autre formation professionnalisante à Paris, dirigée par Yael Zarca et Sultana, avec plusieurs professeurs du milieu de la Danse Orientale. Ces cours consistes à l’apprentissage de l’anatomie, la physiologie humaine, la pédagogie, Mimi is one of the first performers of oriental dances in Bulgaria. Our big oriental dancer and choreographer Maria Birtcoeva was her idol at the time. Mimi visited Maria Birtcoeva's lessons since she was the first and only teacher then. Mimi is inspired by this magic dance from an early age. In 1993 her big dream comes true. She is hired to dance in the first newly opened Arabian restaurant in Sofia "Oasis"-where a rich oriental program is performed. Soon Mimi gets the chance to travel and dance abroad-in Macedonia, Lebanon and Turkey. In 1997 she goes to Switzerland, where she is hired as a dancer in an Arabian restaurant in Geneva. Two years later Mimi stops dancing for some time. In 2007 she returns to the stage. Oriental dances become an irreplaceable part of her daily round. She takes part regularly in many international festivals in Europe, Egypt and Israel and while traveling, she can take advantage of the languages she speaks. In addition to Bulgarian, Mimi speaks another 7 languages - French, English, Italian, German, Turkish, Russian and Serbian. In these countries she takes lessons and workshops with the best international teachers like Dina, Raqia Hassan, Randa Kamel, Orit Maftsir, Mo Gedawi, Momo Kadous, Mohamed Shahin, Amir Thaleb, Asmahan, Khaled Ñeif, Tito, Bozenka, Jillina, Azizza-Canada, Wael Mansour, Hassan Khalil and many more. website: www.mimi-bellydance.com where you can find also her models of bellydance costumes , because Mimi it also designer. She created by her self about 100 differents models each of them are uniques.. Besides participating in various festivals, Mimi has graduated 1 year professional training Raks Life in Berlin under the guidance of Nabila Sabha and with the special participation of Guy Schalom from London and his orchestra. There she studied different Arabian rhythms, history and technique of oriental dances. In July 2012 Mimi successfully graduated another professional training for oriental dance teachers in Paris under the guidance of Yael Zarca in Sultana association. There she studied in a profound and extended way anatomy, technique , history, dancing styles and pedagogics - all that is necessary to create a professional teacher of oriental dances. In Mimi's opinion even if you know a lot, there is always something more to learn. That is why she never stops studying and refining her skills. In October 2013 she attended another intensive oriental dancing course with Aziza Abdul Ridha and dr. Mo Geddawi and one more time she successfully took a diploma as an international teacher and performer of oriental dances. Now Mimi teaches in her own dancing school in Montreux, Switzerland. Since 2014 she fullfills one of her most desired dreams to organize INTERNATIONAL BEWLLYDANCE FESTIVAL ATTENDED BY ORIENTAL DANCE FANS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD, who had the chance to share experience and to dance on Bulgarian stage.
